Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

A quick, delicious peanut butter pie and you won't even have to turn on the oven!

For the Crust

  • 18 Nutter Butter cookies, finely crushed
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted (86 grams)

For the Chocolate Layer

  • 4 oz dark chocolate (110 grams)
  • 2 oz heavy cream (59 mL)
  • 1/4 tsp salt

For the Peanut Butter Layer

  • 8 oz cream cheese (225 grams)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter (250 grams)
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar (125 grams)
  • 5 tbsp heavy cream

For the Topping

  • 8 oz cool whip
  • 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter (83 grams)
  • 1/3 cup confectioners' sugar (42 grams)
  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 8 nutter butter, coarsely crushed


For the Crust

  • Using food processor, crush the nutter butter cookies into fine crumbs. 
  • Combine cookies crumbs and melted butter until mixture comes together. Press crust into 9-inch pie dish and chill in refrigerator for approx. 15 minutes. 

For the Chocolate Layer

  • Place chocolate in heat-proof bowl. Warm cream in microwave for about 1 minute.
  • Pour warm cream over chocolate. Let sit for approx. 2 minutes. 
  • Add in salt and mix until smooth. Allow to cool. 
  • Pour chocolate into prepared pie crust. Spread into a thin layer. Return crust to refrigerator. 

For the Peanut Butter Filling

  • Combine cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and cream. 
  • Add peanut butter mixture to pie pan on top of chocolate layer in an even layer. Return to refrigerator.   

For the Topping

  • Whip peanut butter, powdered sugar, and cream in medium bowl for about 1 minute until a crumbly mixture comes together. 
  • Fold whipped cream into peanut butter mixture. 
  • Spread whipped cream mixture on top of pie. Top with coarsely chopped cookies.
  • Allow pie to chill in refrigerator for approx. 2 hours.
